Order of SLIME additional features
Order NFTs are required to choose when to manually claim or compound their AVAILABLE balance into the contract.
They pay the transaction gas for this.
Order NFTs have the ability to build their own monastery by recruiting new members to deposit into the Sewer.
To do this, you must have an existing NFT in the Order of SLIME. You must then provide your NFT id or referral link to anyone you wish to recruit, and they must create a new NFT in the Order of Slime by making a deposit into the Sewer contract using your NFT id as their ‘guru’.
Recruiting disciples is the fastest way to grow your OOZE due to the extra rewards earned.
In order to qualify for rewards for team-building, you must purchase the requisite amount of SLIME LP tokens from the Swamp contract for the level of team you want to benefit from, which goes towards building OOZE/USDC liquidity, and also gives you further rewards. You must also have a positive NDV (Net Deposit Value). See the Team-building Reward Eligibility and the Swamp section for further details.
Rewards for team-building consist of a portion of all deposit and compound taxes paid by both your immediate disciples as well as their disciples.
This is assuming you hold SLIME LP to qualify for those rewards. Full details on how the tax is distributed can be found in Taxes and Kickbacks section.
If your new disciple decides to join the BioPunks instead of Order of Slime, you will receive a reward from their initial deposit tax.
However, you receive no rewards after that.
When building a monastery, you have the option to choose what percent of the deposit and claim tax rewards you will automatically kick back to your disciples.
You can choose kick back to be an amount between 25% and 75% of the reward. This amount is choosable on your NFT on the Sewer page, and will be visible to anyone considering joining you when they put in your NFT id. You may choose to change this amount at any time, however the amount you have chosen when your disciple makes their first deposit using you as their guru will be locked for the perpetuity of their NFT. Your new chosen kickback percentage will only apply to new disciples that join you after that change.
Compounds of your AVAILABLE amount incur a 10% tax.
This tax goes to the contract balance. A reward of 10% on the after-tax amount is then granted by the contract. In the Order of SLIME, 50% of that reward goes directly to that NFTs guru, but the other 50% is treated as a round-robin bonus. There are 15 rounds to this round-robin, regardless of eligibility of your guru or guru’s guru. Each guru up the chain takes a turn at the round-robin. If they are eligible to receive it (see eligibility below), they receive that amount into their deposited amount. If they are ineligible to receive it, it goes to the contract balance. Unlike other similar protocols, there are no skips, it’s just a dead turn and the taxes go to the contract balance. If the round-robin hits the top ‘developer wallet’, it gets a turn at receiving the deposit, but after that point if there are rounds left, these all go to the contract balance.
Example:
Over the course of 16 days, Liv makes 16 compound actions, each of which generate a 10% after-tax reward. 50% of that reward goes to Kramer, her guru, on each turn.
The other 50% of that reward takes turns.
Turn 1: It hits Kramer, who is eligible to receive Liv’s compounding tax. That turn he gets the full 10% tax.
Turn 2: It hits Fred, but he is ineligible (see "Team-building Reward Eligibility & the Swamp") to receive it, and so that turn there is no reward granted and the tax stays in the contract balance.
Turns 3-5: It hits Samantha, then Murray, then Joe, who are all eligible to receive the reward, and so do.
Turn 6: It hits the System Wallet, which is eligible to receive all bonuses, and so receives it.
Turns 7-15: There are no further gurus, as so all these bonuses go to the contract balance.
Turn 16: Kramer’s turn again.
