Taxes and Kickbacks

for the Order of SLIME

Whenever someone you’ve immediately recruited for your monastery deposits...

...you receive a 10% after-tax reward (minus kickback), which increases your REWARDS amount, and therefore your BALANCE.

Whenever someone you’ve immediately recruited for your monastery compounds...

...you receive a 5% after-tax reward (minus kickback), which goes to your REWARDS amount, and therefore your BALANCE.

Whenever someone in your monastery or your disciples’ monastery compounds...

...another 5% after-tax reward is generated, which may hit your REWARDS on a round-robin basis (minus your chosen kickback), where there are 15 turns, traveling up guru to guru.

When the round-robin tax from compounding hits an ineligible wallet...

...no reward is granted, and the full amount of the tax goes to the contract balance minus a tax kickback as determined by your STEALTH.

When the round-robin tax from compounding hits the System Wallet...

...the amount goes to the System Wallet, minus a tax kickback as determined by your STEALTH.

When the round-robin tax has already hit the System Wallet and has turns remaining (in the 15 turns)...

...all remaining turns go to the contract balance, minus a tax kickback as determined by your STEALTH.

Monastery Tax Kickbacks

When forming your monastery, you have the option to set a % of kickback for rewards for deposits and compounds between 25% of the reward (so 2.5% of their after-tax deposit amount, or 1.25% of their after-tax compound amount) and 75% of their reward (so 7.5% of their after-tax deposit amount, or 3.75% of their after-tax compound amount).

This kickback goes back to the NFT that originated the deposit or compound, hitting their REWARDS. This has the potential to be higher than the default 25% reward kickback that the BioPunks get from hitting the System Wallet with their deposits and compounds, and is a way you can give incentive to your monastery disciples. See "Team-building Reward Eligibility & the Swamp" for full details.

The kickback amount you set for your disciples is locked for each disciple at the time they join.

So if you set for example a 50% kickback rate, then 5 disciples join, and then you change your kickback rate to 25%, the 5 disciples who joined before your change are locked in at 50% whereas all new disciples will receive the 25%. When joining a team, potential disciples will see the potential kickback rate you are offering.

When you refer someone who ends up joining the BioPunks...

...you will receive a 10% after-tax reward on their initial deposit minus your chosen kickback- they will not receive further kickbacks from you, but instead from the system wallet, which defaults to 25%. This is to incentivize them to join your team for further higher kickbacks.
